20-10-2018· I put one of the little pads on some tweezers, used my free hand to "pry" the box back just a bit with a long screwdriver, and then shoved the sticky rubber pad in between the box and speaker. Yada, yada, yada...no more vibration. I assume you have the same issue, likely in the same place. It's fixable, but getting to it is the problem.

You unwind the cables each end, which are nice and long, you switch on the Pocket Boom and connect it to your music device via the 3.5 headphone socket, then attach the vibration speaker to any old box, using it's sticky pad, then that box becomes a speaker.

29-2-2012· I've fixed my issue and reduced speaker vibrations from the left side. Not much can be done with the right side. Design flaw: The left speaker vibrates so much because its basically plastic on top of plastic. Which will vibrate. Asus placed no pad between the two plastics. I used a few strips of insulation take to fix the vibrations.

The speaker is indeed portable but there are real portable speakers out there just as small and with better quality that don't require you to find something to transform into your amplifier. The actual speaker vibrator uses a sticky pad to stay on which I can see wearing out quickly if you're not careful.
